Nicklas (Nick) is a graduate of Iowa State University's Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program. As a landscape designer, he has experience in all aspects of design and construction. He has assisted with residential landscape design projects in nearly every state (besides Alaska - hoping to though). With over 6+ years of professional experience, his design strategy is oriented around connecting people to the natural environment while providing sustainable site design and unique storytelling experiences. His passion for community and customer service is embedded in his commitment to providing the best design experience possible.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, sketching, learning to play the guitar, golfing, and playing with his Golden Retriever, Millie. He is a U.S. Army Veteran (Military Food Inspector) and a proud member of THRive (Hampton Roads Young Professionals), Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council, and Newsletter Editor of the Virginia Society of Landscape Designers (VSLD). He is currently studying towards a Master's of Environmental Policy and Management, with a concentration in Environmental Planning through American Military University.
